Four other students arrested on suspicion of their involvement in the death of student in Fes, as the list of suspects grows to eight

28 April 2014

A security source revealed that four other students were arrested on Sunday on suspicion of their involvement in the events at the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdullah University Faculty of Science in Fes last Thursday, which led to the death of student Abderrahim Hasnaoui and the injury of two others.

The source said that the arrest of these students brings the number of people arrested to eight, against the backdrop of what the source said were clashes between the Attajdid Tollabi and Annahj Al-Democrati Al-Qaedi factions, in which blades were used.

Yesterday, judicial police sent four students, on suspicion of their involvement in these clashes, to the public prosecutor to decide the king’s attorney in the Fes Court of Appeals, where they were brought before the investigating judge.

Judicial sources explained that three of the arrested students, who are facing the charge of “premeditated murder,” were detained at the Ain Qadous prison, while the fourth suspect was release.
