‘Iraq to provide financial reward to anyone who kills or arrests a foreign terrorist,’ al-Khabar Press (Lebanon), 20 February 2014

The Iraqi Ministry of Defence is offering cash rewards to anybody who kills or captures foreign terrorists from al-Qaeda or the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria. The border between Iraq and Syria has become weaker with the ongoing Syrian crisis, with fighters flowing between the two countries and sectarian tensions high.

اعلنت وزارة الدفاع العراقية عن “مكافأة مالية لكل من يقتل او يعتقل ارهابيا اجنبيا” ينتمي الى تنظيم القاعدة او الى تنظيم الدولة الاسلامية في العراق والشام

وتبلغ قيمة المكافأة 20 مليون دينار (نحو 17 الف دولار) لكل من يقتل ارهابيا اجنبيا من القاعدة وداعش، و30 مليونا لمن يلقي القبض على ارهابي منهم، كما افاد بيان وزارة الدفاع

Iraq to provide financial reward to anyone who kills or arrests a foreign terrorist

The Iraqi Ministry of Defence announced a “ financial reward to anyone who kills or arrests a foreign terrorist” belonging to al-Qaeda or the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS).

A statement from the Ministry of Defence said that the value of the reward is to be twenty million dinar (about 17,000 UDS) for anyone who kills a foreign terrorist from al-Qaeda or ISIS, and thirty million for anyone who arrests a terrorist from either organization.
