As the fourth day of the humanitarian ceasefire enters into force more people leave the Old City of Homs, where al-Asad’s forces currently besiege the opposition fighters.

الهلال الاحمر السوري: اجلاء 300 شخص اليوم من المدينة القديمة في حمص

بيروت – (رويترز): قال الهلال الاحمر العربي السوري انه جرى اجلاء 300 شخص اليوم الاثنين من المدينة القديمة في حمص مع دخول العملية الانسانية في المنطقة التي تسيطر عليها المعارضة يومها الرابع.

وتعني عملية الاجلاء اليوم ان نحو الف شخص غادروا المدينة القديمة الان حيث تحاصر قوات الاسد معارضين يقاتلون للاطاحة به من سدة الحكم.

Syrian Red Crescent: 300 people evacuated today from the Old City of Homs

10th February 2014

Beirut (Reuters) The Syrian Arab Red Crescent said that 300 people had been evacuated on Monday from the Old City of Homs with the humanitarian ceasefire entered into force for the forth day, in an area controlled by the opposition.

The evacuation today means that about one thousand people have departed from the Old City where al-Asad’s forces are besieging the opposition who are fighting to remove him from power.
