The masked men who threatened ‘al-Mustaqbal’ yesterday due to its political policies

23rd January 2014

The Tripoli community confirmed to the newspaper ‘al-Jomhuria’ that a group of masked men threatened to torch the offices of the ‘al-Mustaqbal’ Movement due to its political policies in Tripoli. Furthermore they revealed that it sent a strongly worded message to this group and those who told them to do this, and that any mistake committed will be followed by a full media exposure of them and their leaders, and that all legal and judicial procedures will be taken.

A group calling itself “The Sunnis in Tripoli’ has sent a letter to the Prime Minster Sa’ad al-Hariri and the al-Mustaqbal Movement, accusing him of selling out the blood of Lebanese Martyrs and their chief martyr Rafiq al-Hariri. This group threatened the day before yesterday to burn down the offices of the al-Mustaqbal Movement in Tripoli and to persecute it’s officials.
