Canadian ambassador in Cairo: We strongly support our friend Egypt, Dostor (Egypt), 10 December 2013

David Drake, Canada’s ambassador to Egypt, confirmed his country’s support for Egypt in many important economic sectors. Canadian support continues despite last summer’s military coup, the ensuing security crackdown, and multiple questions of human rights as Egypt experiences another transitional political period.

أكد ديفيد دريك سفير كندا في القاهرة، أن بلاده تدعم بقوة صديقتها مصر فى مجالات متعددة، على رأسها البترول والغاز والتعدين والبتروكيماويات، من أجل تعزيز المشاركة المجتمعية

وأضاف السفير، خلال الندوة التى عقدها مجلس الأعمال الكندى المصرى، حول مستقبل التعدين، بمشاركة العديد من الوزراء ورؤساء الشركات، أن حكومة بلاده تدعم الدول النامية فى تطوير مجال التعدين والغاز من أجل القضاء على الفقر، وتقدم لها ما تمتلكه من خبرات كبيرة فى هذه القطاعات

Canadian ambassador in Cairo: We strongly support our friend Egypt

David Drake, Canadian ambassador in Cairo, confirmed that his country strongly supports its friend Egypt in multiple areas, chiefly petrol, gas, mining and petrochemicals, in order to strengthen societal participation.

During a seminar held by the Canadian-Egyptian business council about the future of mining with the participation of many ministers and CEOs, the ambassador added that his country’s government supports developing countries in the development of mining and gas in order to eliminate poverty and provides them with its vast experience in these sectors.
