شهدت مناطق جنوب وشرق اليمن، اليوم، حراكاً سياسياً وثورياً كبيراً بعد حالة العصيان المدني في مدن عدن ولحج والضالع وشبوة في جنوب اليمن، وذلك استجابة للدعوة التي وجهتها فصائل الحراك الجنوبي في ذكرى حرب صيف العام 1994.
وقد انقسم الحراك في مدينة المكلا بين مؤيد للعصيان ورافض له، بعد دعوة مجلس الحراك الذي يرأسه حسن باعوم إلى مليونية في المدينة.
وقال مصدر يمني مسؤول، في تصريح صحافي، إن العصيان المدني شل أكثر من 50 مدينة جنوب اليمن.
كما شهدت ضاحية حي الشرج، وسط مدينة المكلا، حالة شلل تام لحركة السيارات مع إغلاق جميع المحال التجارية والمطاعم بالكامل، منذ صباح اليوم، تلبية للدعوة إلى العصيان المدني

Areas of South Yemen to meet the call for civil disobedience
Areas in the south and east of Yemen today witnessed a large political and revolutionary movement after cases of civil disobedience in the cities Adun, Lehaj, ad-Dala’a and Shabuwa in Southern Yemen in response to calls made by the southern factional movements in the anniversary of the summer war of 1994.
The movement divided in the city al-Mukalla between supporters of the disobedience and those who refused to take part, after the Council’s calls led by Hassan Ba’um to millions in the city.
Official Yemeni sources said in a press statement that the civil disobedience was in more that 50 cities in Southern Yemen. Furthermore the suburb al-Sharj, in downtown al-Mukalla, saw complete paralysis of traffic and closure of all shops and restaurants in response to the calls.
The Edinburgh Arabic Initiative
